Family-run lawn and sports turf experts in Beenleigh
We look after home lawns, acreage and sports fields across South East Queensland and Northern NSW. If your grass is thin, hard, patchy or just not responding, we start by working out why, then lay out the work to fix it.

Turf specialists for home lawns and playing fields
Most of what we do happens at ground level and below it. We relieve compacted soil, cut out thatch, level uneven surfaces and feed the root zone, so the grass on top has something to grow in. Mowing keeps a lawn tidy. The work underneath is what keeps it healthy.
People usually call us when something has stopped working. The lawn has thinned out, water sits on top after a storm, weeds are filling the gaps, or an oval gets harder and barer with every round. The first instinct is more water or more fertiliser. More often than not, the real cause is underneath: compaction, thatch, poor levels or a pest nobody has spotted yet.
That is why we diagnose before we recommend anything. On a home lawn the answer might be scarifying to clear the thatch, core aeration to open up the soil, then top dressing, done in that order. On a sports field it often starts with Clegg hammer hardness readings and soil tests. Either way, you know what we found and why we are suggesting the work.
Want a straight answer about your grass?
Tell us what is bothering you and we will come out, look at the grass and the soil, and explain what it needs, at no charge. Jobs from $220.
What you can expect from us
The same approach on a suburban backyard as on a council oval: look properly, explain it plainly, then do the work well.
We look before we price
Work starts with a free onsite check. We see how compacted the soil is, how much thatch has built up and how the area drains, and ask how the lawn or field gets used, because the right fix depends on the cause.
We explain what we find
You get a plain rundown of what is going on and why it is happening, so you can decide what is worth doing. No jargon for the sake of it.
The work, step by step
We set out the work in the order it should happen and give you a firm price before anything starts. Jobs start from $220; the size of the area, access and the work involved decide the rest.
Our own crew and gear
The people who turn up are our crew, running machinery we own and look after, so the job gets done the way it was planned.
Timed to the season
Lawn renovations go in from spring to early summer, when couch, kikuyu, buffalo and zoysia are growing strongly and recover quickly. Sports field work is planned around the draw and the off-season.
Only what it needs
If your lawn only needs a feed, we will tell you that. If it needs more, we will show you why before you commit to anything.
The right machine for the job and the access
We own and run our own equipment, so we can match the machine to the site: a compact aerator through a narrow side gate, or tractor-mounted gear across a full-size oval.
- Toro stand-on aerator
- Small enough for most side gates, so backyards get proper lawn coring too, not just the front yard.
- John Deere Aercore 800
- A heavy-duty corer that pulls deep, even cores across ovals, playing fields and bigger lawns, used for sports turf aeration.
- Top dressers and a tractor-towed sand spreader
- ECOLAWN 250 dressers for home lawns, a Metermatic Top Drop for greens and courts, and a 3 m³ sand spreader for full-field top dressing.
- 2.25 kg Clegg hammer
- Measures how hard a playing surface is, so sports field work is based on readings rather than guesswork.
- GPS line marker
- Accurate, repeatable sports field line marking for the football codes, cricket and athletics.

The work scales from one tired backyard to a council with several grounds on a yearly program.
